Gifts to the Congdon Park Recreation Association (Congdon Park Hockey) help promote neighborhood youth hockey in Duluth.

Since 1934 children in the Congdon Park neighborhood have benefited from winter skating and participating in youth hockey.  Boys and girls enjoy skating on Congdon's outdoor rinks and learn the values of teamwork, dedication and how to have fun. Congdon's skating rinks are also enjoyed by pleasure skaters of all ages. Entirely run by volunteers, donations are greatly appreciated to help support the upkeep of the outdoor rinks and keep costs lower for participating families.

Congdon Park Hockey hosts outdoor rinks at Lower Chester Park.  Your gifts directly benefit the ice maintenance costs, rink and board maintenance and repair, youth hockey scholarships and hockey equipment assistance for players and community members.  While at Lower Chester, we will continue to provide three beautiful professionally surfaced sheets of ice for pleasure skating, hockey and general outdoor recreation free of charge to the community.

Congdon Park Hockey registration fees are not nearly enough to cover our numerous costs: preseason ice, league games (refs & ice), Zamboni and Bobcat maintenance, snow removal, propane and fuel costs, insurance, hockey equipment, jerseys, etc. We are in need of your additional support.

Give to the Max Day is a fast and easy way to support CPH. Please consider giving and also sending this request to your family, neighbors and friends of our rink. We not only support our own hockey players but provide free winter recreation to the community.

Donations of any amount are welcome.  If the donation is in honor of a certain person (such as a grandchild, etc.), please include it in the comments for our sponsor acknowledgements!
