Community Shares of Wisconsin works with over 60 member nonprofits to promote social and environmental justice in our community.

Community Shares of Wisconsin has been building the movement for social and environmental justice since 1971. Remember when businesses did not care about “being green”?  When victims of domestic violence were treated “as if they deserved it”? When LGBT kids had nowhere to turn when they were mistreated in schools? When people with disabilities had to fight to stay in their jobs?  Community Shares helps local nonprofits make progress on these and more social justice issues every day.
