Help us draw our circle wider by donating today! After a year and a half of connecting virtually, young people need access to music and community building now more than ever!

ComMUSICation (CMC) is the ONLY youth development organization in St. Paul focused on providing accessible high-quality music education. Our mission is to amplify young voices and cultivate skills for success through equitable access to music, collaboration, and opportunity. The youth who participate in our programs learn life and leadership skills, build community across schools and cultures, and have the opportunity to perform frequently in amazing spaces.

ComMUSICation was founded in response to the lack of accessible, high-quality music education programs in St. Paul, particularly in the neighborhoods we serve. Our high-quality, intensive music after school programs were designed to provide a safe space for young people to come together and explore their interest in music through ensemble music-making while lowering access barriers like cost and transportation.

Around this time last year, we found out we needed to find our own program and office space after years of receiving this in-kind from a partner. We asked you to help us as we grew into this next stage of our development and found a new site to call home. This July, we moved into a new space at St. Paul Fellowship in the Frogtown neighborhood.

As we continue our transition to in person programming, we need your help to increase our impact and reach. Your support will help us provide new program offerings at new sites in the heart of the Frogtown Community, including introductory music classes, and ukulele and piano lessons.

Your gift will help CMC draw the circle wider by offering transportation and bringing programs to community sites where young people gather.

We appreciate your support of CMC's programs! In the spirit of drawing the circle wider, we invite you to see our programs in action on Saturday, November 20th from 9:30 to 11:30. You'll be able to see what our youth have been learning and how they’re building community together. Click here to register to attend virtually or in person.
