The CHOICE, unlimited ARTS Program has a mission is to offer creative outlets and platforms for self-expression, personal growth, and an opportunity to educate the public about the incredible possibilities all individuals possess. The program provides activities and experiences that encourage creativity, independent thinking, relationship building, confidence, and self-motivation. 

The importance of the arts and how it can heal individuals as well as the greater community is critical to our culture. Our ARTS Program continues to find ways to be creative and forge strong connections in our community to offer quality, life-changing programming to our participants. We ask for your support to help our program continue to thrive and offer the vibrant classes and creative outlets that our community so badly needs.

Our goal is to raise $7,000, and you can help us reach it! Classes and Artistic Experiences for the Community 

The ARTS Program provides avenues to explore artistic and expressive needs. The program provides activities and experiences that encourage creativity, independent thinking, relationship building, confidence, and self-motivation. 

Professionally Taught Classes are offered in a variety of art mediums. Classes include Studio Visual Arts, Photography, Film, Movement and Dance, Theatre Arts, Music, and Creative Writing. 

BOLD-choice Theatre Company

BOLD-choice Theatre is a community theatre company that creates original, fully staged productions that align artistic expression with civic engagement. This program is a place for artists to explore their craft and realize the power of artistic expression. The company seeks to entertain and engage the community, leading to dialogue around the issues of inclusivity, individuality, and social responsibility.

BOLD-choice Theatre Company develops original plays with input from their ensemble cast. The process includes developing themes and generating dialogue and plot while honing character development through improvisation and workshopping. The resulting work is infused with authenticity, camaraderie, and creativity. BOLD-choice Theatre Company performs in the community as well as tours to schools and organizations.

BOLD-choice Theatre Company is currently touring their first original musical-Sundown on the Jasper County Jewel.

Jasper County once had the most illustrious Honky Tonk venue in all the country – but years of wear and changing times have put “The Jewel” on the verge of ruin. Through original songs and music, storytelling, and reflection, BOLD-choice tells the fictional story of the once-famed Country Western Theatre.  

When a traveling band finds themselves booked to play what appears to be a run-down shell of a theatre, an eccentric owner takes them through a historic retelling of the venue’s past with tales of the famed legends that performed on The Jewel’s stage.
