Children’s Surgery International (CSI) brings free pediatric surgical care and training to underserved communities around the world. Our vision: close the gap in global health care by equipping local providers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to deliver life-changing surgical and medical care for children — long after our teams go home.

CSI presently has partnerships in Ethiopia, Mexico, Liberia, and The Gambia.

2025 was a year of meaningful growth and impact. We completed 7 surgical training trips — a 40% increase from previous years — and provided 353 life-changing surgeries. We also reached 6,000 children through community health outreach, completed the first year of Ethiopia’s first-ever pediatric ENT fellowship program, and donated more than $255,000 in medical supplies, equipment and training. And thanks to the generosity of our clinical volunteers, more than 5,000 hours of care and professional skills — valued at nearly $1.2 million — were donated to children and medical partners around the world.
