Our Vision: A healthy Christian home and family for every Haitian child.

Mission

To provide excellent physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and economic care for at-risk children and families in Haiti, empowering the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. 

Our Approach

Children of the Promise currently seeks to care out its mission in the following ways:

Family Strengthening Program: A holistic approach dedicated to strengthening and supporting existing families through a variety of ways.

• Nutrition - both formula for infants and medical mamba for toddlers along with nutrition education for caregivers
• Rehabilitative Care - short term care for children and families as needed
• Lagossette Christian School - high quality Christian education for nearly 250 students in our rural community
• Education Sponsorship - students are sponsored to attend a school in their community

On-Campus Care: When separation of a child and family occurs due to a variety of reasons, temporary family-style care for a child until he or she is united with a forever family through international adoption or domestic foster care.

• Foster Care - on campus foster care for abandoned or orphaned children
• Adoption - we are licensed to facilitate adoptions for children legally placed in our care by the authorities in Haiti

Domestic Foster Care: partnership with IBESR (Haitian Social Services) and local families to provide a healthy and safe home for children.

Employment: We employ over 100 Nationals (Haitians) to accomplish our mission.
