At Milestones, we believe every child deserves the strongest start in life—and every child care provider deserves the tools, support, and community to make that possible. Serving Central Minnesota and beyond, Milestones is a trusted nonprofit partner in early childhood education, family support, and community well-being.

Our impact is real. Through programs like Child Care Aware, CACFP food program sponsorship, car seat safety initiatives, workforce training, and the Shared Services Alliance, we are helping child care providers thrive while ensuring children grow up safe, healthy, and ready to learn. In the past year, we’ve expanded services across Region 7W, distributed hundreds of car seats to families in need, and launched business and leadership trainings that empower family child care providers to build sustainable, successful programs.

We don’t do this work alone. Milestones collaborates with county agencies, United Way of Central MN, Initiative Foundation, Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, local school districts, higher education partners, and countless community leaders—all joining forces to strengthen the early childhood ecosystem. Together, we are creating new child care slots, supporting workforce development, and building pathways for the next generation of leaders.

Looking ahead, Milestones is pursuing bold opportunities for growth. Our vision includes building an endowment for long-term sustainability, ensuring that child care providers, families, and communities will have access to support they need—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
