Options Pregnancy Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Fairmont, MN. Our mission is to provide compassionate support, education and peer counseling to anyone experiencing an unexpected or unplanned pregnancy. Each year we help to meet the needs of nearly 200 individuals.
At Options Pregnancy Center we strive to determine each individual client’s prevalent needs and offer assistance from the array of services available here at the Center and from other agencies throughout the community. Services provided at the center include pregnancy tests, options consultation, prenatal information, childbirth and parenting education, maternity clothing, infant clothing, baby cribs, diapers and formula. All of our services are free to our clients. Referrals are made for medical, financial, employment and other services.
Options Pregnancy Center serves women and men from Martin, Faribault, Watonwan and Jackson counties in Minnesota, as well as several communities in Iowa. Our clients range in age from 12 to mid-forties, with the majority in the 17 to 24 age group. We do not discriminate because of religion, race or marital status.
Options Pregnancy Center offers services to anyone with a pregnancy related need, regardless of income.
Funding for our services is provided by donations from individuals, churches, and community organizations as well as the United Way of Fairmont and United Fund of Jackson. A Positive Alternatives Grant from the Minnesota Department of Health funds some of the educational materials and material support items we are able to provide our clients.
