Cannon Valley Makers is a makerspace serving the Dundas, Northfield and Faribault area. The makerspace is a place for creative folks to gather, learn, make and share. The community welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
Our vision is to bring the joy of making to all. We work to lower the barriers for people who want to make things. We have low monthly membership fees. Membership includes not only 24/7 access to tools but many of the materials you need to get started making something new. We have amazing members who are eager to share knowledge with each other.
We opened in April 2020 after five years of planning. Our first year and a half have been challenging - but we were able to create a great space with great tools and great members. We are still working to cover expenses on a month to month basis - raising $10,000 would enable us to focus our volunteer energy on developing the organization, not just paying rent.
During that six months, we will expand membership, launch classes, host events, reach out to the community, and strengthen our retail offerings. We are on the cusp of sustainability - we need your help to get there. Thank you for helping Cannon Valley Makers thrive.
