Cannon Valley Makers is a makerspace serving the Dundas, Northfield and Faribault area. The makerspace is a place for creative folks to gather, learn, make and share.  The community welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

Our vision is to bring the joy of making to all.  We work to lower the barriers for people who want to make things.  We have low monthly membership fees.  Membership includes not only 24/7 access to tools but many of the materials you need to get started making something new.  We have amazing members who are eager to share knowledge with each other.

We opened in April 2020 after five years of planning.  Our first year and a half were challenging - but we were able to create a great space with great tools and great members.  We are now 150+ members strong and have reached sustainability (meaning we can pay our rent and utilities!)

It's time to level up.  Our short term goal is to raise $4000 to purchase a Sawstop Cabinet Saw - a much safer option for our busy community workshop.  Our midterm goal is to be able to hire a host who can regularly staff the makerspace and help members learn new tools and troubleshoot problems.  Thank you for helping Cannon Valley Makers thrive.
