Campus Safety Coalition

The mission of Campus Safety Coalition (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) is to create safer university and college campuses throughout the United States for all stakeholders; including students, employees, and surrounding neighborhoods. 

Our approach is to get the right people at the same table (university administration, university and local police, local and state politicians, media outlets, etc.) to discuss the issues at hand and then work collaboratively on solutions. The approach is working.

There is only one metric that measures the success of our safety advocacy efforts. That metric is "reported crimes". We are happy to report that "reported crimes" in the neighborhoods around the U of MN campus are down -18% vs 2022 compared to only a -5% improvement across the rest of Minneapolis. Many initiatives contribute to this disproportionate improvement around the U of MN campus but this metric proves the efforts are creating favorable results.

Donations to Campus Safety Coalition will allow us to participate in future events at the U of MN as well as allow us to explore additional campus safety initiatives.
