Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church

In 2018, Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church established the Gloria Roach Thomas and Leroy Thomas Educational Scholarship Fund. The purpose of the scholarship is to promote higher education and better the futures of our youth; close the racial achievement gap in higher education; help support future leaders interested in social justice issues; and engage our youth and young adults to strengthen the rich legacy of Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church.  We are asking for donations to support scholarships for our youth to 2 year, 4-year, and  graduate studies programs. Over the last three years, we have supported five to seven  young scholars each year.
