Our Mission: To become a justice-centered school community who fuels the unique genius of each student. 

Our Vision: Brooklyn Center Community Schools endeavors to be a collective who demonstrates passion, pride and perseverance. We will fiercely lead the way in justice-centered education, striving against the permanence of racism and oppressive systems while embracing a future where our diversity fuels learning. With every breath in our bodies, every ounce of influence we possess, and through every challenge, we stand front and center with the young people we love and serve.

As the only full-service Community School district in Minnesota, Brooklyn Center Community Schools (BCCS) has an integrated focus on academics, health and social services, youth and community development, and community engagement, which leads to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities. The school acts as the hub of the community, and has over 100 community partners and programs, providing supports such as out-of-school-time programs; immigration and refugee services; community engagement opportunities; and the onsite Brooklyn Center Health Resource Center (HRC), a community clinic providing free & low cost health services for young people.

Support the Brooklyn Center High School College and Career Center. Every dollar raised will go towards College and Career programming that connects 600+ Brooklyn Center High School students with meaningful opportunities.

A $15 contribution covers a warm meal for a BC student attending a Lunch and Learn Session.

$50 will provide supplies for self-care and mental wellness events during finals week.

$100 will go to a college scholarship fund for our BC Senior class.

$265 sponsors 1 student to take the Certified Nursing Assistance exam to gain paid experience in the healthcare industry. 

$500 covers a bus for a college or career-related field trip.

$1,000 provides equipment to enhance the Centaur Broadcast Newsroom. 

Collectively, we are trying to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of programming. Thank you for your generosity and investing in our scholars!
