Mission:

Blue Water Theatre Company elevates youth through theatre arts education.

This past season, Blue Water served over 300 youth participants from all over the Twin Cities metro area. Ten productions and a haunted house were enjoyed by 6,500 patrons at our theatre near downtown Wayzata. And we offered classes, too!  This season is packed with crowd favorites like The Addams Family (Young@Part), Les Miserables School Edition, Romeo & Juliet, and Mean Girls JR along with exciting new works like Pickle-Chiffon Pie: The Musical, In the Land of Mauve and Gold, and The Gull. Our numbers and our reach continue to grow. Your generosity fuels Blue Water’s growth.

Year-end support is critical to ensure ongoing programming for youth in 3rd-12th grade through the end of August 2024. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 from individual donors by December 31, 2023. With your help, we’ll reach that goal.

- Provide scholarships for youth to take a class or be in a show

- Make it possible for actors to work with and learn from the creators of new works

- Replenish the stock of lumber needed for a show's set

- Cover licensing costs for a production

- Give youth access to top-notch professional guest artists

- Fund a maintenance project in our aging building
