The Blue House Uganda provides a home, support for education, and HOPE for orphans and vulnerable children in rural Uganda, Africa. And during the pandemic, your generosity is even more important.

CREATING A CHILDHOOD AND OPPORTUNITY FOR ORPHANS IN RURAL UGANDA

Blue House Uganda (BHU), formerly Hope Multipurpose Inc. (HMI), is a 501(c)(3) that sponsors the Blue House  in Uganda, Africa. Since 2004, girls have a safe family-like home, clothing, health care, mentoring, and nutritious food.  They attend primary and secondary public school. They learn to raise some of their own food, and make their own clothing on treadle sewing machines.

  • As they finish high school, BHU wants to give them opportunity for post-secondary education, to better transition from orphanage to independence.
  • At the same time, we want to bring more vulnerable girls to the Blue House. We have more space, but can only accept more when we can afford to support them.
  • During COVID-19 they need extra help — teachers, technology, educational materials, and extra healthcare workers and facilities as required by the government.

Your donations help support these important goals. Please be generous.
