Bloomington Early Learning Advisory Council

We support families and advocate for Bloomington's youngest learners

Our mission is to strengthen the parent/caregiver commitment to Bloomington Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) as well as advise and advocate on behalf of all of Bloomington's Early Childhood programs which include ECFE, Early Childhood Screening, preschool programming for three- and four-year-olds, and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). We provide and encourage active and inclusive participation for families and students in our community, adhering to our motto: We play to learn!

This year, we're focusing our Give to the Max Day donations on providing Bloomington newborns and infants in need with formula. Many food banks, such as Bloomington's own VEAP, cannot purchase baby formula at the discounted rates that they are able to procure other foods. As we did when we created our Diaper Drive in 2021, the Advisory Council wants to help fill a need that affects our most earliest of learners!
