HOPE..4 SIMPLE LETTERS PUT TOGETHER TO FORM ONE POWERFUL IDEA.  Helping Other People Everyday.

Blair's Tree of Hope focuses on helping families that have children battling cancer, bone marrow transplants, or other serious illnesses. Our group is run by volunteers, so no one gets paid. 95% of the money goes straight to the families who need it. These families spend a lot of time in the hospital, so we try to make things a little easier for them. Since we started in 2007, we've helped over 3,000 families to help reduce their stress and spend more quality time with their child. We also give out snacks, toiletries, gift cards, magazines, and craft kits to help make their time in the hospital a little brighter. When Blair was going through chemo, we realized the hospital pillowcases weren't very kid friendly. We started making our own colorful, soft pillowcases for the kids.  A group of very talented volunteers come together to sew these beautiful pillowcases.  We've given out over 5,000 of them to kids fighting cancer. Recently a mom told us that her child was packing to leave for college and was insistent on taking her pillowcases that she had received over 5 years ago. You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what we're up to. Small charities like ours have had a tough time receiving donations lately, so we're grateful for any help we can get. If you would like to provide donations to BTOH you can email Kim Anderson at btohhope@gmail.com or call 612-599-4221. Thanks for joining us in spreading HOPE - helping other people every day!
