At Black Butterfly Women Services, we believe every woman deserves a second chance — a chance to heal, rebuild, and live with dignity. Far too often, women leaving prison walk out with nothing but determination and hope. They have no home to return to, no job waiting for them, and no one to guide them as they start over. Without stability and support, it’s far too easy to lose hope and fall back into the same cycle that once trapped them. That’s where we come in.

Black Butterfly Women Services provides safe, stable transitional housing and life-changing wrap-around support for women rebuilding their lives after incarceration. We don’t just offer a place to stay — we offer a foundation for transformation. Through counseling, job readiness programs, education, advocacy, and community connection, we help women rediscover their strength, rebuild their confidence, and prepare for lasting independence.

Since opening our first home in 2020, we have helped more than sixty women rebuild their lives — with an 80 percent successful transition rate into permanent housing, employment, or continued education. Each success story is a testament to what happens when compassion meets opportunity. We’ve witnessed mothers reunite with their children, survivors find their voices again, and women step boldly into leadership and purpose.

Your support makes this possible. Every dollar helps provide emergency rental assistance, essential supplies, and the supportive programs that keep women moving forward — not backward. When you give to Black Butterfly Women Services, you’re not just donating; you’re changing lives, restoring families, and strengthening communities.

This Give to the Max Day, help us continue to transform second chances into new beginnings. Together, we can help more women rise, rebuild, and soar toward a brighter future.
