Help seniors to stay in their own homes, living independently and well

Mary, a senior citizen still lives in the same home she shared with her husband for 47 years in a small rural town.  She has a few health issues and sees her health care providers frequently. They are located 30 miles away in a larger town.  Mary relies on Barnesville Area HELPERS Volunteer Ride Service to access her Regional Medical Services and to pick up her prescriptions in her home town. This valuable service is one of the many ways that enables Mary to continue living in her home!

Barnesville Area HELPERS provides the following services to senior citizens living in the Barnesville School District:
* Transportation
* Medical Equipment Loan Closet
* Shopping Assistance
* Errands
* Visiting/Companionship
* Light Housekeeping and Yard Work
* Library on Aging Topics
* Family Support
