At Drum Superior we engage all ages and abilities in recreational group drumming to support: community building, wellness, stress reduction and personal empowerment.
Our priority this Give to the Max Day is funding HealthRHYTHMS Recreational Music Making to Seniors, through the Block Nurse Living at Home Network, which provides services helping seniors stay in their homes.
Group drumming stimulates creative expression that unites our minds, bodies, and spirits. Drumming is an incredible unifying tool that brings out the best in us.
Drum Superior offers HealthRHYTHMS music making percussion discussions. Our rhythm and drum circles are for all ages and abilities (no experience necessary!) and we provide all drums and percussion. We have instruments to facilitate circles of up to 200 people.
Our facilitators are trained in the HealthRHYTHMS protocol developed by Remo Drum, Dr. Barry Bittman, MD and Christine Stevens, BCMT.
No gift is too small (or too large.) Monthly giving is a great way to make your gift count throughout the year.
This year, we have a goal of raising at least $3,000 so we can continue to share the gift of music with community members each month. Your gift to Drum Superior will provide resources for rhythm and drum circles to participants through the Block Nurse Living at Home Network's monthly activities. A gift of $250 provides support for one rhythm and drum circle.
Your gift provides rhythm and drum circles that enhance the lives of seniors by providing opportunities to engage in group exercise, intellectual stimulation, and stress reduction. Join us this year and commit to supporting these empowering drum circles!
If you have friends who are passionate about the well-being of seniors in our community, please share our page! We’d love to get to know more members of our community and would love to drum alongside them.
