Providing veterinary care for pets of people who are blind or elderly and have limited financial resources.

Working with our member clinics, the Animal Care Foundation puts your donations to work helping the pets of Minnesotans who are elderly or disabled access veterinary care they would otherwise be unable to afford.  You know how much your pet enriches your life and how important they are to your family!  The pets of our clients are no different, but unfortunately, our clients do not have the funds to get their pet the necessary veterinary care they need.  With your help, ACF provides these services to the pets of our clients!

We have several programs that can be utilized depending upon the unique circumstances.  These programs include:

-Access to wellness care and preventative treatments:  As we have all learned, early detection and prevention can substantially decrease the cost of medical care in the future.  Providing this wellness and prevention focus in unique amongst programs like ours.

-Access to supporting funds when a pet needs surgery, care for a chronic disease, or continued care for a more complex issue.  Candidates are assessed by need, quality of life benefit, as well as the likelihood of a successful outcome.

-Access to palliative care and humane euthanasia when a pet's quality of life is low and unlikely to improve with other treatment.
