Angel of Hope

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue was founded in 2003. By 2013, the organization was at risk of closing its doors—until our current Executive Director stepped in to rebuild and revitalize the mission.

Today, we work with more than 2,000 cats and dogs every year, ensuring they receive the veterinary care, training, and support they need to be ready for adoption. This lifesaving work is carried out by a small but dedicated team of 4 full-time employees, 9 part-time staff, and as many volunteers as we can bring on board.

Now, we are at a crossroads once again. To continue growing and meeting the ever-increasing need, we must strengthen our donor program—expanding corporate sponsorships, building a community of monthly givers, and even securing endowments to safeguard our future.

Our vision is to add more staff, expand resources, and ultimately move into a building designed specifically as a shelter. Every day we are forced to turn away requests from families who can no longer care for their pets, from good Samaritans who find strays, and from overcrowded impounds and shelters pleading for help.
