Agassiz Audubon Society does what “Audubon” is known for:  bird conservation, habitat restoration, field trips and education programs.  But this small non-profit does much more.  For more than 30 years, we have operated the 440-acre Audubon Center, an oasis for wildlife and for people who want to experience the wild side of what Glacial Lake Agassiz left in its footprint:   prairie songbirds, pelicans and waterfowl, moose and wolves, bear and other wildlife, trees and grasses of the Tallgrass Aspen Parklands – the only example of this biome in the United States.
