AFSA PreK-12

The Academy for Sciences & Agriculture was founded in 2001 with the purpose of providing agricultural literacy to an urban and suburban population.  In 2005, the High School location in Vadnais Heights opened its doors. This facility was purposefully designed to fit our curriculum and mission.  In 2014, AFSA added grades 5 - 6 and in 2019 added grades K - 4.  With the K-4 expansion AFSA added their elementary building located in Little Canada. In the fall of 2024 AFSA expanded again to include PreK. The academy provides a nurturing environment that prepares students for their future endeavors in social, academic and vocational development. The school includes career opportunities in five areas of science, including: Engineering, Animal Science, Plant Science, Environmental Science, and Food Science. AFSA develops, evaluates, and continuously improves student learning experiences. Hands-on projects and student choice are integrated into the curriculum.  AFSA Elementary and High School locations allow for  the inclusion of students from all northern Twin Cities areas to attend.

Donations from GiveMN will go towards AFSA PreK-12 new technology as well as extra-curriculars- sports, clubs and activities!
