HOUSING SUPPORT FOR ADVOCACY

Emergency Housing

We provide emergency housing for survivors actively fleeing Domestic Violence.

In 2022 we started 30-day Emergency Housing in a fully furnished Apartment.  This will give a survivor time to work with an advocate to find permanent housing.

Transitional Housing

We have a tri-plex apartment unit with 1-2 bedrooms and 2-1 bedrooms.

This unit is for 12 months and is for survivors fleeing Intimate Partner Domestic Violence.  Each unit comes with a garage, utilities included, Wi-Fi, Free onsite laundry, and Keycard access. Survivors will also work with an advocate to have an action plan for permanent housing. Rent is 25% of income.  These units were updated fall of 2023 in phase 1.  Phase 2 will be completed in the winter of 2024.

We are looking for donations to help support our emergency and transitional housing.  When in our 30-day emergency housing, we provide all basic needs including groceries, transportation assistance, personal care items, and much more.  While in transitional housing, we plan to make all 3 units fully furnished to help make these units more like home from the moment you walk in the door.

Ways to Demonstrate Your Support

If you're looking to help us out, there are a variety of ways to do so. We greatly appreciate monetary contributions, as well as donations of laundry soap, cleaning supplies, gas and grocery gift cards, new towels, and personal care items.
