A Client's Story:

I've worked at Adult Client Training Service since 1967.  I'm proud to say I've been with the company for 45 years!  Many people told me I wouldn't be able to work because of my mental disability.  They were wrong.  I've done many jobs over the years including stuffing mailings, packaging mouthguards, sorting through thrift store donations and cleaning a local business.  It may take me a little time to learn how to do a job, but ACTS' staff is here to help me.  My family and staff tell me I'm doing wonderful work!  I'm proud to work at ACTS and hope to be here another 45 years!

A Staff's Story:

I have devoted my life's work to developmentally disabled people.  Nothing could be more rewarding.  I'm proud to be part of ACTS' staff, although it feels more like a family to me.  It's most rewarding to see a client progress, if even a tiny bit, and know I had a part in making their life better.  I won't get rich working in this field, but I do feel rich in other ways.  A simple "thank you" from a parent or client makes me feel I'm doing what I should be with my life.  What could be better than that?
