Registration for Give to the Max 2023 closed at 12:00 noon CST on Wednesday, November 15. As a reminder, you may take part in GTMD23 even if you are not registered!
1) Fill out the short registration form.
Anyone at your organization may fill out this form on your behalf. It's designed to be short, simple and streamlined. Once you're finished, click submit!
2) Make sure the To-Do list in your organization's administrative area is complete.
As part of the registration process, we require organizations to complete four actions in their administrative area: upload a logo, write a brief story/description, sign up for electronic funds transfer (EFT) direct deposits for donations, and add text to their thank you page. You may access these by clicking "To-Do" at the top-left of your GiveMN.org administrative area.
Note: If your organization has successfully registered for GTMD in a previous year, it is likely that the items on your To-Do list will remain complete from before!
Once both of these requirements are complete, your registration will be approved and you will receive an email confirmation!

You may always check on your registration status at the top of your organization's administrative area! Additionally, we will send confirmation emails to all administrators when their organization's registration has been approved. And, we'll continue to send friendly reminders to register throughout the fall.
What if my organization is fiscally-sponsored?
In most cases, your registration is automatically tied to the nonprofit that serves as your fiscal sponsor. Once a nonprofit registers for Give to the Max, all of their sub-organizations are immediately registered as well.
May organizations from outside of Minnesota register?
Absolutely! No matter your location, we encourage you to register for Give to the Max Day if you think it would be advantageous for your organization to participate. However, only Minnesota-based nonprofits are eligible for prize grants.
How do I opt-in to the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ search filters?
In order to keep these filter results fresh for donors, we request organizations opt-in through registration each year for inclusion. On October 1, we will refresh our lists to display organizations who have opted in through GTMD23 registration. If you register later, no worries—you will be added to the results when your registration has been approved!
These search filters have been informed by our commitment to our Equity in Action value and our analysis of fundraising data and trends.
