Join Us to Raise Money for The Joe Martin ALS Foundation!

Let's Walk together in November to raise money in support of people with ALS.

Dear Family and Friends,

We hope this message finds you and your families safe and healthy during these trying Covid-19 times.   The Bowes family is well thus far and surviving the changes brought about by the Virus.  

It has been over 5 years since Pat was diagnosed with ALS. We are fortunate the ALS has progressed slowly.   However, his current and future limitations do, and will, require increased assistance.  For these reasons, we are looking at our needs and where they can be obtained.

Some of you may be familiar with the Joe Martin ALS Foundation which our family has supported in the past.  This Charlotte based non-profit foundation provides direct services and resources to ALS patients and their families.

Examples include use of loaner equipment, caregiving, physical therapy, transportation, etc. at no cost to the patients and their families.  With our changing needs and this particularly important local resource, Team Pat’s BOwesZO’s has decided that our 2020 fundraising efforts will be in support of the Joe Martin ALS Foundation.  To learn more about this organization, please visit their website:

As part of our team, you have raised greater than $100,000 over the past 4 years for the ALS cause that we pray will lead to a cure.  We are amazed and humbled by your thoughtfulness and generosity.  This year we have set a fundraising goal for The Joe Martin ALS Foundation of $20,000.  This campaign will run from July 1st through November 30th.  If you are willing to support our fundraising efforts this year, we would be so grateful and appreciative.

Although this journey is not one we would have asked for, we have been blessed beyond measure in so many ways.  Your support of our family has been more meaningful than you can ever know and is truly a gift.   We have never felt alone and thank God daily for your ongoing friendship and love.
