Cat believes everyone has a fundraising superpower, and she's committed to helping people find theirs.

With a background in political fundraising and organizing, Cat most recently served as U.S. Congresswoman Betty McCollum's finance director, where she helped raise more than $2 million in the campaign's most successful fundraising cycle to date. Originally from Minnesota, she graduated from the University of Minnesota where she wrote her senior thesis on how gender, race, and ideology shape Congressional campaign fundraising. Cat joined GiveMN in 2023 and loves helping organizations raise money from a place of joy and abundance, grounded in the belief that fundraising is fundamentally about relationships. Passionate about welcoming the next generation of philanthropic leaders, she currently serves on the Emerging Leaders Collective within the Association of Fundraising Professionals' NYC chapter.

Cat is committed to welcoming a new generation of leaders into the fundraising space and has facilitated leadership development programs at several women’s rights organizations. She currently serves on Women Winning’s young professionals committee where she recruits and engages a growing network of young leaders. She is also a member of the Emerging Leaders Committee within the Association of Fundraising Professionals' NYC chapter.

When she’s not demystifying fundraising, Cat can be found solving crossword puzzles, playing early-2000’s pop songs on piano, and finding the best espresso in her neighborhood. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
