Why We’re Fundraising for Exodus Lending
As board members of Exodus Lending, we’re proud to support an organization that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to build a financially secure future, free from the burden of predatory debt.
Over the past ten years, Exodus Lending has helped more than 1,000 Minnesotans find a path forward through its 0% interest refinancing program. Together, our community has paid off more than 1,500 predatory loans and saved borrowers an estimated $3.7 million. Behind every number is a person, a family, and a future with more room to breathe.
We serve on the board because we believe financial freedom should be accessible to everyone, and that no one should have to navigate predatory lending alone. We’ve seen the power of a community that shows up for one another, and we know this work is only possible because of the borrowers, staff, donors, volunteers, and partners who make it happen.
This Give to the Max Day, we’re celebrating the milestone of our 1,000th borrower while helping ensure that more Minnesotans can access a path out of predatory debt. We’re fundraising because reaching 1,000 borrowers is worth celebrating—and because there are still more people who deserve the same opportunity.
