Amelia completed her third year at Northern Voices and continues to amaze us with the things she can say. Northern Voices provides a listening and spoken language program that allows Amelia to receive speech therapy every day she is at school. This March, the school had to close on-site programming and turned to distance learning and teletherapy. Thanks to the dedication of the amazing teachers and staff at Northern Voices, we participated in distance learning and are continuing teletherapy throughout the summer.
The annual Walk for Talk/HEAR-O 5K has been the largest fundraiser for Nothern Voices for 10 years and was cancelled this past May due to COVID-19. The loss of Walk for Talk leaves a large hole in Northern Voices' budget. They are launching their first "virtual" Walk for Talk fundraiser and we hope you will support Amelia and all of the students at Northern Voices.
By donating to this virtual event, you will help give a child with hearing loss a voice. These donations provide direct scholarships and program support so all children can attend Northern Voices and reach their full potential regardless of income. With your help, we can ensure that each and every student is provided with the best listening and spoken language program in Minnesota.
