PRI's Made in the Shade campaign will support community access opportunities for individuals with disabilities because when everyone is seen, heard, included, and valued, our entire community thrives.
Everyone deserves opportunities to experience the richness of community life. However, many community experiences that most people take for granted are not accessible to individuals with disabilities because of transportation limitations, cost barriers, or lack of support.
A ticket to the State Fair.
An afternoon at a museum.
A volunteer opportunity that builds confidence and skills.
A theater performance shared with friends.
These experiences create belonging, build relationships, and allow individuals with disabilities to contribute their talents and gifts to the community.
This campaign will help make those experiences possible.
