Loring Elementary Walk-A-Thon 2025 – Let’s Go the Distance!
On Tuesday, October 14th, our students will hit the track for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the annual Walk-A-Thon. This event fuels the programs that make Loring special. Our Schoolyard Garden, Cooking, and Wellness programs give kids real, hands-on learning about healthy food, outdoor spaces, and community wellness.
Here is the challenge. We need every student to raise as much support as possible before October 14th. That means asking grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors. Every single dollar goes directly into programs that benefit our kids.
There are exciting prizes. The top two fundraising classes will win a pizza party. The top fundraising class in every grade will also be recognized. Every student who participates will receive a prize.
This is more than just walking. It is about building community and giving every child the resources to grow, learn, and thrive. When students put in the steps, their community shows up for them.
