The Community Connections Committee will be participating in the Paws and Claws Pet Walk 2.0 on May 1, 2021. Paws and Claws Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides shelter and care to homeless and stray animals in Olmsted County and surrounding areas. Last year alone Paws and Claws provided shelter and care to animals that were victims of multiple hurricanes and abandoned on reservations and found fur-ever homes for over 1,200 animals. The Pet Walk is one of their highest earning events of the year, making it possible for them to continue these great works. Paws and Claws volunteer-based shelter receives no government funding and depends heavily on events like this one to survive. The goal is to get you outdoors and active; all while walking your pet and supporting a great cause in our community!
Donations can be anonymous, however, there is an opportunity to earn prizes at the $25 donation mark and $40. $25 donation earns you a goodie bag with items for you and your pet and $40 earns you a Pandemic Pet Walk 2.0 T-shirt, the goodie bag, and be part of drawings for MULTIPLE other great sponsor prizes.
