We are officially moving ahead on the construction of the new San Lucas Mission Center! The Center will strengthen the Mission’s ability to welcome visitors, host community gatherings, and serve the people of San Lucas for generations to come.
Mission leaders make plans for the new facility
We hope you’ll consider making a gift to help bring this dream to life. As we break ground on this transformational project, your support can help build a place where thousands will learn, connect, and grow. We can’t reach this milestone for San Lucas without you.
Earlier this month, the Mission broke ground on the new facility
This Center will become the heart of the Visitor Program and a gathering space for the community. Phase one includes constructing a kitchen, dining room, restrooms, outdoor spaces, and essential infrastructure. Phase two, planned for 2027, will add offices, gathering rooms, and a patio overlooking Lake Atitlán.
A priest blessed the land on which the Mission Center will be built
Anyone who gives $1,000 or more will have their name engraved on a pillar in the Community Garden at the new Mission Center. Pillars have long symbolized strength and support. Your generosity will literally uphold the Mission’s work.
