Every child deserves a caring adult in their corner to encourage them, listen to them, and help them unlock their full potential. At Kinship of the Park Rapids Area, we connect local youth with dedicated adult mentors who build meaningful, life-changing relationships.
Through our core mentorship program and our Reading Buddies program at Century School and Nevis Public Schools—where volunteers help first graders strengthen literacy skills while building positive connections—we are actively investing in the future of our community. Through September of this year alone, our incredible volunteers have invested at least 618 hours directly with local youth. That is hundreds of hours spent building self-confidence, improving self-image, and broadening horizons.
