Honor the Journey. Invest in the Next Generation.

In 1981, Vietnamese refugees and families in Minnesota came together to build community in a new home.

Forty-five years later, that work continues.

The Vietnamese Community of Minnesota has grown alongside generations of families who built businesses, raised children, served their neighbors, preserved language and culture, and helped make Minnesota home.

Now we face a different question:

How do we make sure the next generation inherits more than our memories?

This Give to the Max, we are asking 100 people to help carry 45 years of community-building forward.

Our goal is simple: raise $5,000 from at least 100 donors to strengthen VCM’s 2027 work with young people, elders, families and the broader community.

Your support will help VCM continue work such as:

• youth leadership and cultural education;

• intergenerational activities connecting elders and young people;

• Vietnamese language and cultural learning;

• community outreach and support;

• public cultural education, including programming connected to Tết and other community gatherings.

This campaign is not only about raising money.

It is about building a community of people who believe Vietnamese Minnesota’s history, culture and future are worth investing in.

If you grew up in this community, give in honor of the people who helped build it.

If you are raising children here, give so they can know the stories, language and culture that came before them.

If Minnesota welcomed your family, give in gratitude.

If you simply believe that communities are stronger when people know where they came from and have the opportunity to build what comes next, join us.

A gift of $25 matters.

A gift of $45 celebrates 45 years.

A gift of $100 strengthens the work.

And every donor becomes part of the next chapter.

Our goal:

100 donors.

$5,000.

45 years forward.

Give today and invite one other person to join you.
