Keep Lakes Area Theatre Stored & Stage-Ready

The curtains may close, but the work of maintaining a theatre company continues all year long.

Lakes Area Theatre relies on a storage unit to safely house the sets, costumes, props, lighting equipment, sound equipment, production supplies, and other materials we reuse from production to production.

Our storage unit currently costs $80 each month — $960 per year.

For a small, site-adaptable theatre company like ours, storage is essential. We do not have a permanent theatre building or dedicated scene shop where these materials can live between performances.

Without secure storage, we would have to dispose of or repeatedly replace materials that can otherwise be reused for future productions.

Your support helps us:

- Preserve costumes, props, scenery, and production equipment

- Reuse materials instead of replacing them for every production

- Keep sets and technical equipment protected between performances

- Reduce future production expenses

- Stay organized and prepared for upcoming shows

- Direct more of our earned income toward artists and programming

Our goal is to raise $2,000 in ongoing support each year to help keep our storage expenses covered.
