#5 OUR MISSION
United Heroes League: where military families and sports unite.
At UHL, we believe children of military service members deserve every opportunity to participate in sports. Across the U.S. and Canada, we’ve delivered over $30 million in free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, sports camps and special experiences to military families.
#4 OUR RESPONSIBILITY
We honor your trust. Our audited giving percentage consistently falls between 85-90%, meaning the vast majority of every dollar goes directly into our mission. According to the American Institute of Philanthropy/CharityWatch standards - program percentages of 75%+ and costs to raise $100 of $25 or less indicate a highly efficient charity.
#3 OUR FAMILIES
There are nearly 5 million military children serving alongside their parents each day. Deployments have grown in both frequency and duration over the last decade, leaving many children to navigate significant absences of one or both parents. With more than 2 million U.S. children directly affected by a parent’s deployment, our mission is to keep military kids healthy, active and connected through sport and community.
#2 OUR REASON
Roughly 84 % of the U.S. military are enlisted service members, many with modest incomes facing real financial burdens. The costs of sports equipment, camps and association dues can exceed 10% of a gross salary for some enlisted families. Your support of UHL can make the difference between a child playing a sport - or not.
#1 OUR GOAL
Our aim is bold: to ensure all 5 million military kids have the chance to develop critical life skills through sports - teamwork, leadership, resilience. This singular focus on youth development and serving military families has inspired over 115 professional athletes and 30+ professional sports franchises to lend their name and support.
With just $5, you can help keep a military child in play.
Be a hero - help a hero.
