đThis Give OUT Day, Transforming Generations is fundraising for our Queer Justice Program, which includes:
Drag ON Talent Mentorship Program:
- Builds a support network of Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ community members
- Helps participants understand drag as an art medium and how to incorporate their own personal style, as well as teaches about body positivity, consent & boundaries and healthy relationships.
- Provides skill-building opportunities (e.g. makeup application, garment construction, concept development, use of staging, and more related to drag performance)
- Connects LGBTQ+ youth to supportive LGBTQ+ inclusive mentorship.
LGBTQ+ Advocacy Services
- Filing for protection orders
- Court accompaniment
- Resource Navigation
- SANE Exam Accompaniment
- Sib Hlub Circle Support Group
Your gift of:
$50 --- supports an individual with a meal
$150 --- covers supply costs for programming
$350 --- funds a workshop or leadership session for queer and trans community members
$550 --- supports a physical or virtual space where queer and trans folks can gather, create, rest, and organize without fear
