Our Mission

HealthcareMN is Minnesota’s community for healthcare innovators — founders, clinicians, researchers, students, and changemakers working together to improve health outcomes across the state. We accelerate innovation by hosting events, building connections, amplifying underrepresented voices, and supporting early-stage healthcare startups.

Minnesota has world-class healthcare institutions — but many local innovators still lack access to networks, mentorship, funding, and visibility. Your support allows HealthcareMN to:

• Host accessible, high-impact events that bring together healthcare leaders and emerging founders.

• Produce monthly Patient Innovations podcast episodes, spotlighting patients, clinicians, researchers, and founders working on real solutions.

• Offer educational workshops and webinars for startup teams and health professionals.

• Support women and BIPOC founders, ensuring inclusive, equitable participation in Minnesota’s innovation ecosystem.

• Grow community networks across medtech, digital health, public health, and life sciences.

What We’ve Accomplished

In the past year, HealthcareMN has:

• Relaunched with a bold strategic vision and a growing statewide community.

• Hosted panels, pitch events, workshops, and networking meetups across the Twin Cities.

• Launched the HealthcareMN Podcast: Patient Innovations — offering a 360° view of monthly health conditions through patient stories, clinical expertise, and startup innovation.

• Expanded partnerships with leading MN organizations including clinicians, researchers, nonprofits, and innovation centers.

• Introduced new initiatives like Humans of HealthcareMN and the Startup Vlog Series to amplify founders’ journeys.

Our 2025 Goal

• Develop a robust founder support program for early-stage healthcare startups.

• Maintain our community support pages like meetup and google suite

• Build ‘HealthcareMN-novations’: a statewide storytelling series spotlighting women and BIPOC innovators.

• Grow our educational programming, including deeper dives into mental health, rural health, chronic diseases, AI/ML in health, and health equity.

• Sustain our community events, ensuring they remain accessible, inclusive, and high-quality.

• Make AI in Healthcare Forum a premier Midswest one day conference
