A fixture in our community for over 30 years, the Timber Hall needs help.

Built by a local log home builder in 1991, the Timber Hall stands as a testament to hard work, dedication, and the power of community collaboration.  Built entirely by volunteers, using the "old way" of building brought over from Europe, the Timber Hall is one of the most unique buildings in our region and the country.  The full history of the construction of Timber Hall can be found here: Timber Hall History

Today, the Timber Hall and the 40-acre property it stands on is owned by the Embarrass Region Fair Association.  Though upkeep has been done throughout the years, Timber Hall is showing its age.  Red pines that were hand-peeled have seen their fair share of weather, the floor has seen its fair share of feet, snow, and dirt, and the kitchen has served countless pancakes.

Now it's time to ensure the Timber Hall is available for future generations to make memories in.  The Embarrass Region Fair Association was fortunate to be granted $1.5 million dollars by the State of Minnesota to be used toward the preservation and renovation of Timber Hall.  The total cost of this work is estimated to be approximately $4 million.  Your donation will help fill the gap.

Thank you for helping to preserve this jewel of our community.
