Esther and Agnes Need Heart Surgery

This Holiday Season, We Are Asking for a Miracle

We don’t say this lightly—but these two puppies are running out of time.

Right now, both of these sweet babies are fighting for their lives due to a congenital condition called PRAA (Persistent Right Aortic Arch). It’s a cruel defect that forms a tight vascular ring around the esophagus, making it painfully difficult for them to eat or even breathe properly. Food comes back up undigested. Their tiny bodies struggle to grow. Every day that passes, their chances get smaller.

The most heartbreaking part?

This condition is fixable.

With early surgical intervention, puppies with PRAA can go on to live long, happy, normal lives. But without surgery—and without it soon—the esophagus stretches permanently, leading to lifelong megaesophagus and a future filled with complications and suffering.

 Time matters. Every delay increases the risk.

These puppies need specialized surgery performed by a cardiologist, and we are incredibly fortunate to have access to the best. But here’s where the miracle comes in…

 The cost is approximately $5,000 per puppy.

We know that’s a lot.

We know it’s the holidays.

We know times are hard for so many.

And yet… we have to try.

Because these puppies didn’t choose this.

Because they deserve a chance to grow, to eat without pain, to run, to play, and to simply live.
