Help Me Reach My Goal for Give to the Max Day!
Hi friends and family,
As a former Board Member of United Way of Southwest Minnesota, I’ve seen firsthand the impact we can make when we come together to support our community. That’s why I’ve set a personal goal to raise $1,000 by November 20th for Give to the Max Day—and I’d be so grateful for your help.
This year, your support is more important than ever. After the devastating storm and flooding on July 18, 2025, we launched the Disaster Recovery Fund to help individuals and families in our region who suddenly found themselves in crisis. We were able to provide vital support to 12 families—but it took time, and we couldn’t respond as quickly as we hoped.
With your help, we can change that.
By donating today, you’re helping us strengthen the Disaster Recovery Fund so we can respond immediately when disaster strikes again. But your impact doesn’t stop there.
Your gift supports a wide range of local programs that improve lives across Southwest Minnesota.
From early childhood literacy through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, to school readiness with Wild About Kindergarten kits, Stuff the Bus, and Student Emergency Funds, your support helps children and families thrive. It also fuels initiatives that promote youth opportunity, financial stability, and community health—ensuring every person has the tools and support they need to succeed.
Bonus: Donate during Give to the Max (Nov 1–20) for a chance to win 4 tickets to the December 20th Minnesota Wild game donated by the Schwan's Company!
Together, we can ensure no one faces a crisis alone—and every person has the chance to thrive.
Make your gift today and be part of building a stronger, more resilient Southwest Minnesota.
💛 Will you help me reach my goal?
Together, we can be ready for whatever comes next. United is the Way.
