Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the programs at Chops, Inc. have inspired and connected people across Minnesota since 1991. Throughout the year, we offer multiple co-educational performing arts programs for students of all ages as well as several professional performing ensembles. At Chops Inc., we love what we do and look forward to meeting new students ready to excel in our music and performing arts programs!

We're on a mission to bring people from different walks of life together to experience the joy of music education and performing arts. Built on the foundation of integrity, excellence, personal development, and entertainment, we've created programs that welcome students and members to learn music and prepare for performance opportunities, honing their skills and building community along the way.

As we look ahead at 2026, Chops is facing decreased revenue, loss of federal grants, and an increasingly difficult fundraising landscape. We need your help to keep your favorite programs up and running. At Chops, Inc. we believe that cost should never be a barrier to experiencing the joy of performing music which is why all of our ensembles are completely free to all those who wish to participate. Not only that, but our school residencies are also provided completely free of charge to ensure that we can reach the schools and the students who need us most.
