Horses provide Therapeutic benefits for persons of all ages!!

We have community programs designed to improve the quality of life for all ages and to provide affordable, accessible, and effective equine-facilitated activities in an exceptional learning environment that will support individuals with disabilities and children at risk. 

The Lee-Mar Ranch Equine Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has counted on our local communities, generous donors, and selfless volunteers to operate since 2009. We have grown substantially over the years and now offer weekly Therapeutic Horsemanship lessons for over 25 participants, even in the winter! We host and coach a Special Olympics Equestrian Team, and provide Equine-Related Learning Opportunities throughout the year. We also host a variety of community events, such as Cowboy Christmas and Halloween trick-or-treating. We have visited assisted-living and care centers with our horses, and we have also had them come to our barn to ride horses. We currently serve seven counties and several communities from our Granite Falls, MN, location.

This year, Lee-Mar Ranch Equine Center pays tribute to Popeye, the horse in our picture above. Popeye faithfully served our organization for years, providing hundreds of hours of therapeutic riding services to participants. Forever in our hearts, rest in peace, sweet boy.
