Children's Hospital Association (CHA) has been funding and stewarding pediatric care and services for over 90 years. CHA's Lunch Bunch Guild has been supporting these efforts since 2003! This Give to the Max Day, we're raising money through CHA to fund Child Life in the Emergency Departments at Children's Minnesota.
In a setting that can be overwhelming and frightening, Child Life professionals ensure that children are not just treated but truly cared for. By preparing patients for procedures, offering emotional support, and helping families understand their medical journey, Child Life transforms the Emergency Department experience from one of fear to one of empowerment.
