Myo On's 2026 Sit-a-thon Page

This year has been a challenging one for those of us in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Particularly for the immigrant, and undocumented residents of our state in addition to transgender and non-binary people. Clouds in Water Zen Center has been a place of refuge for many in these marginalized populations. A safe welcoming space has been provided to those who would like to just come find a quiet space to settle down and  discover their own True selves.

 This past year Clouds in Water became an organizational member of the statewide inter-faith group, ISAIAH  Many sangha members including myself have participate in many ISAIAH generated events, from lobbying our state congress people to support funding for many livability issues from fair housing to nutrition programs as well as education and climate issues. Many of us also participated in rallies at the state capital and Twin Cities inter-sangha  events to support the Wellbeing of our communities.

       Shakyamuni Buddha's original teaching of the 4 noble truths is a prescription for healing ourselves as individuals and societally.
