WPBP Pride Month 2026 Fundraiser

LGBTQIA+ people in prison need support all year round, not just during Pride.

Queer and trans people are disproportionately incarcerated in the United States. And once they enter the criminal legal system, they are subject to cruel and harsh treatment. 

A shocking 85% of LGBTQIA+ people who have been incarcerated have been put in solitary confinement. The books, resources, and messages we send break through the isolation of prison, and ensure that LGBTQIA+ people can feel heard and supported.

From medical resources and mental health support to romance and memoir, we frequently receive requests for queer and trans books. Because we are constantly navigating restrictions from prisons (some don't even allow us to send explicitly LGBTQIA+ content), sending new books is the best way to ensure that prisons won't reject our packages. 

Your donations will be used to purchase LGBTQIA+ books from highly requested genres to keep our shelves stocked all year round.

• $15 donation - 1 copy of "The Trans Self-Care Workbook"
• $30 donation - 2 copies of "Lesbian Couples: A Guide to Creating Healthy Relationships"
• $50 - 6 copies of "You Should See Me in a Crown"
• $100 donation - 5 copies of "Yes, You Are Trans Enough"
