Help turn a rough industrial building into a warm and welcoming space for those with disabilities!

A Great Day farm is a free recreational space in Northfield, Minnesota that supports people with disabilities, their families and their communities.

The goal of this renovation project is to transform a hard-edged industrial building into a super functional space for the Farm that provides a wide array of activities to its guests from adaptive cycling, music and art therapy, indoor swings, games, and even dance parties!

This project includes two spaces; redesign an existing porch to create a sensory room as a cozy and quiet place year-round, and a large multi-functional space requiring acoustic, flexible lighting and storage, with design elements to make it more friendly for over 1,000 guests per year.

Joy Collaborative will transform their spaces into something more inclusive and functional.  This renovation effort will allow the program to include even more guests with special needs coming to have fun, enjoy new experiences, and build friendships in an area known as a "disability desert."  We are excited to support the Farm as we reimagine a new future creating more positive experiences for those in need.

All donors will be invited to a ribbon cutting event expected to be scheduled in early summer 2026.
