🌈 Creating Space for Joy

For the past 3.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of working at QUEERSPACE collective, and I’ve seen firsthand just how life-changing it is for Queer and Trans youth to have a space where they can simply be.

At QUEERSPACE, kids can show up exactly as they are without their gender, pronouns, or who they have a crush on being the thing that sets them apart. It’s a space where they can drop their shoulders and experience the kind of joy that every young person deserves.

Many people speak loudly about personal freedom, yet treat Queerness as if it’s the exception. In a world where Queer and Trans lives are increasingly politicized and restricted, QUEERSPACE is building something radical and beautiful: community, connection, and joy.
